I like the first option. It’s like a book. Rereading a favourite book where all the characters live out the same scenes over and over, yet they don’t know it. In the Sweet Valley Highs books, I used to read as a teenager the main characters Jessica and Elizabeth always remained sixteen. As I got older I eventually outgrew the books, but I will always remember Jessica and Elizabeth as eternally young and carefree. The book about Einstein and time sounds interesting. I will google it.
