I received a copy of American Dirt for Christmas. Half way through I googled the book and learnt about the controversy. I only read a sentence or two because I was afraid I might find out Lidia and Luca’s outcome before having read it.

When I finished the book this morning I read several book reviews about it on medium. I was glad to have read yours, it was well written and I am more knowledgeable for it.
