I used to say that, where will I be in five years, what will I be thinking. The answer I discovered, as the years slipped past, was pretty much the same as I am now.
Once you reach a certain age, things even out. If you’re the mother of three young children, the chances are in five years time (unless something horrible happens) you are still going to be the mother of three children, except now they’ll be at school. If you have a job that you like and is convenient to your lifestyle, the chances are, you will still have that job five years later.
As we get older our thoughts become more stable, we tend to become more in tune with ourselves. Our ideas are not as emotionally charged.
Some may say it sounds a bit boring…but no, it just means we’re made the transition into adulthood.
