Oh gee, I hope they all survive the crash landing. The story reminds a bit of Lost in Space. They often had crash landings and then while waiting for their ship to be repaired that silly Dr Smith would land them in all kinds of strife. I hope there isn’t a Dr Smith type character on your space ship.
