Probably lots of things but we won’t know it for years. Or we know things but refuse to except the truth because it is trendy to think otherwise.
I recently spoke to a friends who lives in Australia. She was telling me how politicians were thinking of putting a sugar tax on soft drinks, to cut down on the growing obesity problem.
My friend who works as an educator with young children, scoffs at the idea. The reason why we are all putting on weight, she said, is because we eat too much.
I too wonder how long it is going to take the intellectuals of the world to wake up and realise that children who eat an apple, an orange, a small tub of yoghurt, and a banana muffin every day for morning tea, are going to start piling on wight.
