Close up of a door - A tall red headed woman, carrying a toddler throws open the door.

She stands still in the doorframe.

All eyes turn towards the woman.

Staff Member 2 gasps.

The redhead walks fast across the room. She stares straight ahead, her expression blank.

Staff Member 1 - Claudia blocks her pathway.

Claudia - Good morning Alexandra.

Alexandra nods - Indeed

Claudia - And who is this? She touches the child’s back.

Alexandra - My Jesse. Her bow wrinkles. You know that.

Claudia - Coughs

Another Angle - Claudia glances at a staff member 2, standing near door, and nods head. The staff member hurries from room.

In background staff members 3/4 gather children and heard them out of sliding rear room doors.

Alexandra - Everyone said when Jesse vanished, that I should move forwards, live life again.

Claudia - Can I hold Jesse? She removes child from Alexandra’s arms.

The child begins to cry

Claudia - Alexandria, where did you find Jesse?

Alexandra - Blinks, In the park.

Claudia - And you took her?

Alexandra - Laughs. Oh yes, Wednesday is her assigned kindy day. She needs to be here.

Wide shot - Two policeman, and Day Care Director enter the room.

Alexandra - Thumps hand to forehead. No, don’t take my Jesse away.

Claudia - We have to. This child is not yours.
