Thanks for the interesting post. I haven’t read Bridgerton but have watched the shows, which I enjoyed. As for the romance you suggested, it sounds intriguing, but you said it was hard going. Last year I tried to read Middlemarch by George Eliot. It was just too tedious and I gave up. I like reading for the enjoyment, not to be tortured. Do you have any other romance suggestions?
