That is exactly how I feel about Enid Blyton. Yes, her books are outdated and racist… but I still, and always will have fond memories of Jo, Bessie, and Fanny climbing up The Faraway Tree. Thanks so much for writing, I look forward to reading more of your posts. By the way, I loved Nancy Drew also.
