They do sound kind of irritating. They are however your husband’s parents, so it would be nice if they were in your life. Also you don’t have to agree with anything they say, their out dated comments are their opinions, not yours. As your kids get older let them know you don’t agree with them. And one last thing, sometimes life has a nasty way of repeating itself, imagine if one day your daughter in law doesn’t want you around her children for holding certain beliefs.
