You should take that post, package it and suggest it become a core subject in the high school curriculum.
Here’s a story. I person I know was recently in dept up to her eyeballs. She was ringing up councillors and crying. She was so depressed about her situation that she ended up going on antidepressants. But at the end of the day it was her own stupidity that put her were she was. Earlier that year she’d bought an expensive car – with money she did not have. She was also saving what money she did earn on a overseas trip to the UK. At every turn she was digging herself in deeper and deeper.
And the sad part about her predicament is there are millions like her.
One last thing – When the non savers of this world retire from work they have nothing to live on, then it becomes the job of the savers to support them. Unfair really.
I save my money, I have a plan, I look to future and I know there are a lot of people who look at me and say, well it’s alright for you, you have money in the bank, yeah I do but only because I put it there.
